Do you have any cupcakes safe for people with nut allergies?
We're sorry! Our kitchen is tiny and we do use nuts in a few of our recipes, and of course we use real peanut butter in our peanut butter frosting. So, anyone with a nut allergy should not consume our products!
Can I get the mini cupcakes in any flavor?
We only make the "Little Bits" in vanilla, chocolate and red velvet cake on a daily basis. If you would like to special order your favorite flavor in the mini, just ask us!
Do you rent your cupcake stands?
Yes, we rent our stands if you are placing an order for our cupcakes! Please contact us for details and pricing.
Do you ship your cupcakes?
Sorry, we do not ship our cupcakes.
How does advanced ordering work?
There is no minimum of cupcakes that you need to order if you are ordering the flavors of the day! When placing an order for a cupcake flavor that is not on that's days menu, we ask that you order a minimum of 6 cupcakes per flavor. We need 24 hours advanced notice for most orders but depending on the number of orders we have we may be able to do a rush order, just ask us!
What's YOUR favorite cupcake flavor?
Our favorites change daily (sometimes HOURLY), but right now Deb (the owner) loves the Sugar Cookie cupcake and the Banana/Peanut Butter cupcake! And everyone here at the shop loves the S'mores cupcakes on Saturday!
Why do you sell out?
Part of what makes our products taste so great is that we truly bake from scratch each morning, we never sell leftover cupcakes the following day, and each one of our recipes is measured out by hand. This in itself is what makes our cupcakes taste so great and of course is what makes our products sometimes hard to get! We strive to meet the needs of all our potential customers by baking as much product as we possibly can. Like most bakeries we start at 5AM and there is a finite amount of fresh product we can produce on any given day.
Do you offer sugar free, gluten free or vegan cupcakes?
At this time we do not have sugar free cupcakes. We do offer gluten free cupcakes on Saturday. We offer a selection of vegan cupcakes everyday. If you would like to order a specific flavor of our vegan cupcakes to enjoy just give us a call and we will be happy to make them for you!
Is Heavenly Cupcake Shop a franchise?
No, Heavenly Cupcake Shop is owned and operated by a local Elmhurst family!
Do you have gift cards?
Yes! Stop in the shop and pick up a Heavenly gift card. They are a great gift for teachers, birthdays, or saying thank you to someone special!
What do I do, if I really want a particular flavor but can't get in to pick it up until the end of the day?
Just call ahead and we will hold it for you until 2:00pm, or pay over the phone and we will hold it until the close of the day.
Do you really bake from scratch?
Yes, all of our products are baked from scratch here at the shop every morning. We crack each egg, peel every carrot and measure every cup of sugar. Our cupcakes are made with the highest quality ingredients, we use only Nielsen Massey vanilla! Here at Heavenly we never use any cake mixes, or packaged frostings.
